There are many cases where you will want to use sensitive data such as usernames and/or passwords in your Python project. A common practice in these cases is to move sensitive data to a separate
config.json file and then read that file in the Python script.
The issue with this approach is that the sensitive data are still stored somewhere in plain text, exposing a security vulnerability. Azure Key Vault provides a secure place to store these data, which is decoupled from any applications.
